Mort and Sharon Brown
I contacted Mort a few years back to hear about his experiences as a test pilot at Cessna and sure enough he had my s/n in his log book. His enthusiasm for aviation was infectious especially considering he was in his 90s at the time. Today I received a christmas card from Mort and Sharon Brown titled Christmas Yesterday 80 years ago... It has a picture of Mort in the USMC at North Island and a CD of early aviation history. Pretty sure Mort is over 100 now. What a guy! I am sure that any of you who have communicated with him or Sharon over the years will get the same card and I hope it will make you feel as good as it did me.

Re: Mort and Sharon Brown
Mort and Sharon attended our Branson Convention two years ago (and celebrated his 100th Birthday shortly thereafter.)
He was very informative and conversational about his years at Cessna, and he flew with several of our Members in their airplanes......60 years after he'd given those same airframes their production flight tests... signing the logbooks a second time!
Sharon is just as interesting and quite a lady! She gave everyone copies of Mort's personal logs on CD as well as another CD of photos of his career at Cessna.
I was thrilled to hear from him again this year and receive their Christmas greetings. What a fine couple!

Re: Mort and Sharon Brown
Mort and Sharon are really nice folks. He flew the first flight in my 195 and he re-signed my original a/c log in 2007. He did not make the first flight in my 170, but he did fly the s/n before and after it.
