Homemade sleds and frozen cow pies

Post by wingnut »

For any of you guys out there that might have access to a Bonanza/Baron windshield, they make the BEST sled ever! Just cut a couple slots for hand holds, have one of the kids hold your beer, and hop on 8O
Luckily, I had three windshields, cause those frozen cow patties proved to much for my weight and the cold brittle acrylic. The kids have managed to sled since Sunday evening without breaking the third. I've been banned from the fun :(
I'll bet one of those 3/8" or 1/2" windshields would last forever.

I guess that gives NEW MEANING to the term "SPEED-SLOPE windshield", HEH, wingnut?

(And as a former owner of a Beech money-sponge I can attest to it's performance as a turd-slider.)

Wow, a 'glass bottom' sled. That way you can watch the cow pies whiz by while you head for a tree.
