I guess the parts manufacturer might think it was stealing, even if we thieves don't.

Bruce, I downloaded your PDF and sent it to my printer. The results have dimensions approximately twice what I would have expected. They printed in landscape format. The might have been about the right size if they'd been in portrait format but only in the top half of the page.

John,

You need to set the page scaling to NONE in order for it to print at the correct size. The setting is probably set to FIT PRINTABLE AREA.

Yes it might want to print landscape which won't matter. It will also fit in portrait mode.

Yes! That worked much better. Can you make that an attribute of the PDF file, or maybe just add some text to the image that says how to print it? Thanks!

John I'll work on forcing PDFs to print with not scaling. But it may not be possible because it is impossible to know the end users printing capability or how they might want to print something out. You might be able to fool the setting to be set IF you were creating the PDF in Acrobat by setting the attribute NONE in the Page Scaling then saving the file as a new file. But maybe not either.

In any case I'm not creating the image in Acrobat, I'm using PhotoShop. There is no way to attempt to set the attribute. I did try to open the PDF in Acrobat in order to save the attribute but that created another issue rendering the image unusable which I don't understand at this point.

Is everyone following along?

In any case I remade the original file with written directions how to print it on included in the image. Should have done that in the first place.
