Who was Dot Lemon
The latest EAA Vintage Airplane magazine has an article tracing some of the life of Dot Lemon. In one section the article mentions that Dot was married to a fellow pilot known as Dick Lemon, my question is this Dick Lemon also known as blueldr?

Re: Who was Dot Lemon
Johneeb,
Please be advised that "it aint me", blueldr. My last name is Lemmon, but strangely enough, my late wifes name was Dorothy, commonly called "Dot" for short.
I'll have to try to find a copy of that issue of Vintage airplane and see what it was all about. I really have no knowledge of any Lemmon relatives in my family other than my daughter Nancy. Strangely enough there used to be another Nancy Lemmon here married to a Lemmon of a different family.
Dick Lemmon ---- AKA "Blue Leader" ---- Acquired when I had a blue trimmed C-170B. One of by buddies had a blue trimmed Mooney, and another had a blue trimmed Grumman Yankee. We used to go to fly-ins as a flight of three in formation. I was by far the oldest and flew out front, and we used to make formation landings and take offs at fly-ins that had runways that were wide enough. Flying is supposed to be fun, isn't it?

Dick,
I sort of thought it was not you, as the Dot Lemon in the story is old. Would you like me to mail you the magazine?

John,
If you're through with the magazine, I would be interested in the article or a copy of it. My address is in the directory. Thanks for the offer.
