K.I.S.S keep it simple stupid

Post by Brad Brady »

Both in instruction and maintenance....The acronym works. :) I have seen so many posts, that are trying to get around a 337. To put into context, any time you see the word (major), you will need a APIA sing off. If you do anything with the leading edge you will need an APIA sing off. Part 43 appendix D spells out what an owner can do. It actually gives you a lot of leeway). You can do a lot with the engine, With out any observation, yet, if you have done something, Like connecting a ground cable to the fire wall from your starter, or such, make sure you tell your mechanic, It is so easy to miss something that looks good, yet, could cause problems. Sometimes, a minor alteration will need a sing off. That's where it gets interesting, and you need a good mechanic, or lawer

Brad, you mean all I've had to do is get my IA to sing. Would that be solo or could they be accompanied?
