Are you redoing both the 170 & 195? Looked like both types of seats. Don't envy the work you have done and have yet to do on the 195, but Oh what a beautiful machine you will have when its completed. Keep us up-to-date on both projects. Think about writing an article for the 170 News on these projects.

Has anyone ever compared the handles on the back of the 195 seats with the stock 170 Assist straps? The fittings on the end look identical. Are they the same length?

The ones on the back of the 195 are 11 1/2 inches hole to hole. I don't know what distance the 170's are but yes the same hardware.
