Issues With Posts

Post by 170C »

I am wondering what is causing our posts to appear multiple times? I have seen not only mine, but other forum posters' posts showing up in duplicate. For about a week or so I have noticed that sometimes when I click on PREVIEW or when I click on SUBMIT that nothing happens. I guess its an old habit, but if I have clicked on either of those options and neither does as they should, I tend to click on them again. That may be why they eventually show up twice. There must be a "gottcha" in the system that isn't allowing the post to be either previewed or submitted when they have been clicked upon.

This sort of thing must be directed to webmaster (Dale) and I've forwarded the complaint... I've also noticed it, and removed multiple posts, not only my own but of others as well, for several days now.

It's called a double tap.....oh wait we aren't shooting pistols. 8)

But is it the same thing. For one reason or another there is a delay and the poster thinks they hadn't clicked and they click again. I've been covering George for months now erasing his double posts in an attempt to double his post count. I don't have any such trouble because my mouse is GREEN.
