Days like today make the rest of it all worth it!!!
Had the entire valley to myself at mid-morning; by noon a heli-ski outfit showed up 5 miles south, and by 2 pm, more airplanes were around the whole area.

Minutes from los Anchorage, but worlds away in high winds, flat light, or other nefarious ski-flying conditions.
Can't wait to take my boys skiing there when they get a bit older and mom gets braver!!!
