Payson, AZ is another really nice spot to stop with a great airport cafe. It is up in the pine trees and very nice. Sedona is a full-blown tourist trap if that is what you like. Payson is more laid-back, quieter, and a much less touristy tourist trap.

Day one complete, Omaha- Garden City, Ks- Clovis, NM. Fighting cross winds all day....fun! We were ableto get 6.8 at 4500' on the first leg and 6.4 on the second leg. Now, head through Albuquerque -St Johns - Love - Camarillo ........or, the south route Roswell - El Paso - Tucson - Phoenix - Bermuda dunes - Camarillo.
We're max gross so, def need to plan just the fuel we need......
Thoughts?
