It's never a good sign when you have "Thunder Snow" ......Gar you better head up this way with all you friends and their snow plow...15" and still coming. I hate it when the weather man gets it right, he predicted the bulls eye to be US 14 and US 75 intersection for the heaviest snow.....that's about 4 miles away....dang.

Willie, I feel your pain It was in the mid to high 70's down here in the DFW area today. Hang in there, spring will eventually get up there. We will have a tempertature correction here in the next week or so. Its too warm for late February
W,
Thanks for the words of encouragement on the cattle. They did wait till this past, very warm week, to domino. Haven't had a fire in exactly one week now. Got 8 hours on my Jubilee this weekend, discing and grass seeding. Actually got a little sunburn Saturday. Tina planted onions and taters, and we all cleaned out the goat barn. I know it won't last. Our last frost date is around April fools day. But we sure have enjoyed the past few days

I have an Army helicopter pilot friend who at military retirement decided to pursue another career as a train engineer. He gave it up after a few years and went back to flying helicopters for a living because his nerves were shot. You see as the engineer you get to sit in front of hundreds of thousands of pounds hurling down the track with kamikaze drivers trying to beat the train across the track crossing. There is nothing to do but blow the whistle and hope they make it cause the train's not stopping for miles no matter what. And then when they don't make it, it's the engineer who has to take a piss test and live with what he saw.
CAUTION - My forum posts may be worth what you paid for them!
