Thanks. Russ did the labels. I am pretty sure he used a Brother label maker. He will chime in, to verify, when he sees this.

Yes, I used a Brothers P-touch. Got it at Office Depot for around 30-35 bucks. Sure beats those old ugly Dynomaker strip plastic labels from the '60s!

Super nice looking airplane. Looks like a lot of work went into it. Nice looking square tail too

Are there some photos of the instrument panel with those labels that are mentioned? How do I view them? I need to make some new ones for my square tail also and want to see what you guys did.

It was -34F at the cabin yesterday morning as I was getting the place dug-out, after 7 weeks of neglect (due to a hobbled leg). Today, it's -15F here in Chugiak, which means it's even colder than -34 at the cabin...which means I'm NOT going out. Made me long for summer flying with my A+P:

Went up to Iron Creek for a sandwich;

and then out to Beluga for a friends bachelor party, bear hunt, and frisbee session:

Looks like you had a good co-pilot on board. That makes it all worthwhile. It's mid 60's here just outside the Fort Worth, TX area and supposed to be 70 tomorrow

Dang! I was at Lake Elmo that day, and thought about flying up there. Sorry I missed you! Was the chili any good?
I flew a little bit that day. The taxiways at 21D were all iced up, the wind was gusting, and it was a bear to keep the airplane on the pavement while taxiing. Not a great flying day!

how could you call her sunshine? the obvious name is "peaches and cream" that is a beautiful airplane, and a few years ago, if you bought that from john, i was the guy who drug his feet a little too long in front of you. you did well.

This is Seth, my mechanic. He is also good at collecting dirt off the hanger floor after an ice cream cone on a hot summer day.
