Need to delete some of the redundant listings in the "Events" thread  Then can anyone tell me what happened to the post about the January Texas fly-in? :?:

I just the other day deleted all events over a year old. Since in the past, there sometimes was lots of chatter about an event, we have left the old events up.

So hold old should we leave up"

Gary are you sure you saw the January Texas fly-in here at the forum? I can't find it here or looking back through the FkyPapers or 170 News.

Saturday, January 26th, Dry Creek fly-in community (this is where Louise Bickford and Wendell/Sheila Wyborny reside, in NorthWest Houston, just 5 miles Nw of Weiser Airpark).

BBQ Fly-In at the Wyborny's. (Let Wendell/Shiela know you're coming if possible for planning.)

I'll post more info when I locate it again.

BBQ and sides will be served. Donations will be accepted. PLEASE RSVP BY JAN. 14, so we will know how much BBQ to get. We have ordered CAVU that Saturday, the 26th, but in case the weather is not so good, please consider driving. The Wyborny's house is the 3rd from the south end of the runway on the west side. If driving, their address is 14308 Skinner Road. Exit Highway 290 at Skinner Rd. (Skinner only runs north from Hwy 290; or exit Spring-Cyress Road at Hwy290 and go EAST. Skinner Rd. crosses Spring-Cypress about 1/2 mile from Hwy 290. Dry Creek Airport has a very nice grass strip. Check out our webste at TS07. Questions? Call Wendell at 281-213-3168 or Louise Bickford at 281-373-0700 or cell, 281-733-8621 We are looking forward to seeing everyone.
