170's At Moontown

Post by 170C »

Moontown Alabama (3m5) has its monthly flyin breakfast on Saturday, September 21 (next Saturday). We thought this might be a good opportunity for Cessna 170 Assn members to meet for an informal meal and visit. Moontown has a good breakfast and a nice grass runway (2200 ft). Usually a good crowd with lots of different types of planes. If you can make it please do so and plan to be there between 8:00 -8:30 cdt.

We were hoping to make it to Moontown this month but unfortunately I am out of town through about Tuesday. I hope to meet up with you soon somewhere!

Frank, Look for two North Georgia 170’s arriving around 8:15 AM. Moon Town is one of our favorite breakfast flights.

My wife and I are likely coming from south of Atlanta too.

Nice showing of 170s at the Moontown pancake breakfast and beautiful weather to be out and about. If my math was correct we had 5 in total. Jim - you will need to help me with the names of everyone who attended. My wife and I enjoyed meeting everyone and we look forward to the next chance to get together.
