Different alloys used

Does any body use in their repairs use 2013 T6 ALLOY Instead of 2024 T3 alloy. 2013 T6 is 12% stronger and is weldable and has greater corrosion resistance . I noticed that some aircraft manufactures are using this exclusively now.
