Looking for Cessna Pilots SouthEast VA

Post by reynolds.kurt »

I am considering a purchase of a C170 and live in Chesapeake, VA. I was wondering if there were any owners/pilots in the SE VA area that I could talk to. Also, very interested in getting some training in a C170 if I decide to buy one. Thanks, Kurt

Hi Kurt,

I just bought a '52 170B. Picking it up after Labor Day weekend and will be keeping it at PVG. I do know that there is 1 other one out there, you may be able to go out and ask around to find the owner.

Shoot me an email if you want to chat about.

The 170 is a great plane. On September 28th this year we will have owned ours for 4 years. N1909C. I keep it hangered at SFQ (Suffolk Executive) and enjoy showing it. If you would like a tour, let me know and we can meet at the hanger. I will be going out this Saturday (1 September) from about 12 to 5. Chris, who just bought a 170 in GA and will pick it up Tuesday, will be meeting me there. (Right Chris?) Mine has the 180hp conversion, and we fly heavy a lot of the time. Flown to OSH 3 of the 4 years we have owned it. Come take a look. Gary
