2008 C170 Calendars - *** SOLD OUT - SOLD OUT - SOLD OUT ***

Post by doug8082a »

*** UPDATE *** SOLD OUT 1/26/08

Well, I'm already getting checks in the mail and phone calls asking about the calendars so I might as well get this moving (it seems to be starting earlier every year) :D ...

I am now taking orders for the 2008 Cessna 170 Calendar. This is a professionally printed 13 month calendar (12/07 - 12/08 ) with photos supplied by fellow 170 owners. Pictures include Alaska, Missouri, Utah, Oregon, Quebec, England (yes, the one across the pond), and others. In addition, special dates have been identified on the calendar: Sun-n-Fun, TIC170A Convention, and AirVenture.

This is a personal project on my part, however, ALL profits over and above my costs for printing/shipping will be donated to TIC170A.

Pricing (all prices include shipping):

United States and Canada Orders
For all orders from within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) and Canada - $12 (USD) per calendar.

International Orders
For all orders from outside the United States and Canada - $15 (USD) per calendar.

Order/contact info:
My email address is "mowryd@hotmail.com", so feel free to contact me if you have a question. My phone number is in the TIC170A members directory, so you can also call me if you wish.

If you wish to mail a check, please make it out to "Douglas Mowry" and mail it to :
Douglas Mowry
PO Box 791
Douglas, MA 01516

I also accept Paypal @ "mowryd@hotmail.com" if you prefer.

When ordering please include the following:
Name
Shipping address
Quantity requested
Some method of contact (email, phone, etc.) in case there are any hangups.

If you are unfamiliar with Paypal but want to use it, proceed as follows:
Go to http://www.paypal.com - click "Send Money", on the right is a box entitled "Send Money" - follow the instructions to register (it's free) and send your payment to "mowryd@hotmail.com". There is a place for you to include a note to indicate your order quantity and shipping information.

International orders will also be accepted, however, please keep in mind that this is a U.S. calendar with U.S. holidays. The ability to gaze at beautiful C170s throughout the year should outweigh any inconvenience caused by non-applicable or missing holidays! :D

Last year’s calendars (more than 250) sold out! Don’t miss your chance for 2008!

I'm currently getting the order ready for the printer. I expect to begin shipping the calendar in about 4 weeks (mid-October).

Doug,

Nice work, man. I have to admit, I'm a little partial to April '08.

Thanks Zane. Actually, since the calendar starts in Dec. '07, your pic is in March. You had some really nice shots. don't be shy about sending some for next year. Just make sure your camera isn't having technical difficulties.

Thanks guys! Glad you like them.

I have to admit, the USPS still amazes me sometimes... I dropped off 64 envelopes of calendar orders (107 actual calendars) at the post office 2:00 pm on Friday 10/26... and you've received them already?! 8O

Received a notable honor in the mail today... an order from Sharon Brown to be sent to Mort Brown! :D

I'm just sitting here looking at the December 2007 calendar picture and realized I had better get on the ball.

Congratulations Bruce Christie! This December 07 picture is awesome 8)

We got our calender last week, and it looks great.

But...

There were a few pictures that really stumped me for a while... I kept looking at them, trying to figure out what was so wierd about them...

Then it hit me!

Some of the C-170's in the calender were........ FLYING!!!!! I had forgoten that they actually do that.
