McCauley Klip Tip Met-L-Prop

Post by buzzlatka »

Looking for any info on the McCauley Klip Tip Met-L-Prop. One is for sale in the trade mart but I talked to the owner and he doesn't quite remember what his performance was like with it. I was initially thinking it was a climb prop but it has a 56 inch twist. 7656. Is this just basically a cruise prop or am I missing something.

Here is the description from the trade mart post
Selling McCauley Klip Tip Met-L-Prop used on 170B at hot and high altitudes. Serial No. E-1931. Des. No. IC172. EM 7656. TM-910-PC3

Thanks
Steve

I know what you mean. The search function here requires some trail and error to come up with what your looking for (at least without having to wade thru hundreds of returns).
