Just had a chance to open the envelope containing the newest 170 directory and 170 News. Boy, what aa beautiful cover shot!! Steve, that is a super looking plane. The only better shot is to see it in person. Congratulations once again! Who is the lucky passenger?
Also noted that the cover of the latest GAN (General Aviation News) issue has a photo of C170 member Dale Weir and his son Bruce at Dale's hangar. Although his Piper J3 is prominent in the photo, a decerning eye will observe the nose of a C-170 lurking inside the hangar. The article inside tells of Dale's most interesting career and again mentions his ownership of the 170.
