Practice makes Perfect

On the way to & from Knik Glacier this afternoon, I watched these guys practicing short field work.
They had a line in the sand and bright bulb of some type.
Unfortunately, I didn't have the camera zoomed in. But the first photo has a guy on short final - extremely slow approach. The second shows him in the air after his stop & go.
It was impressive practice. Valdez competition will be a good show this weekend.
