Wanted: Doors-off STC for 170A

Post by MeeksDigital »

Is there an STC available for doorless operation in the 170A? Looking to be legit for aerial photography and cinematography :)

Thanks!

AC 105-2C authorizes the Cessna 170 (and others) to fly with one door removed. It is specifically addressed for the purpose of parachuting but you may make appliecation to your local FSDO for authorization for your aircraft. The Advisory Circular should pave the way for you.
Here's a link to download a copy:

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
