I don't know what kind of weather you guys have had the past month, but I can't remember a hotter and drier month. No measurable rain and temps hovering near 100 for the past 4 weeks. 84 degrees when I got to work at 6:30 am Thurday. Until past Friday. I had to stop on the side of highway twice on the way home. 1.8 inches of rain in approx 30 minutes. Got home to find my corn crop laying flat on the ground. Well it was ready to harvest anyway. Woke up Saturday morning to 59 degrees . Tina had a time pickin that corn; had to bend over, get her knees dirty, etc. I did offer moral support from the hammock, telling her I hoped for a storm right before the next crop is ready . I managed to dodge the cobs quite well for awhile, until the hammock dumped me, and she threatened to do the same if I didn't get to work on the fence.
Life is good. Below normal temps and chances of rain every day this week
Well besides a few hot humid days and about 17 days with rain fall in a row starting about the first of June, the weather has been unseasonably dry and nice temperatures in the low to mid 80's here in eastern PA. Think we're going to pay for it in August.

Texas is only slightly warmer and drier than Dante's Inferno (Hell), so far this year.
The scattered showers displayed today on the radar are must be virga and evaporating before hitting the ground because here I am in the middle of it and the only water around here is salty, and on my brow.
I'm going to crack-open another St. Pauli Girl and stay inside on the sofa.

We're enjoying unseasonably dry weather in Minnesota, with below-average rainfall. The Twin Cities have had little rain; outlying areas have done better. Sunday morning was definitely jacket weather.
Minnesota's most popular sport, after hockey, is complaining about the weather. Most of us are complaining about the cold now, but not me. I claim it's always possible to add layers to keep warm, but at some point you can't remove any more layers to get cooler.
Northern California has been hot. But, I would not call it unseasonably hot - 90s and 100s. Spent the past weekend in Fresno at a Western States Association of Sheriff's Air Squadrons fly-in, and I can state it was hotter-n-hell - highs of 107, 110. I was pleased with the oil temp on the 170 - never got over 200F. Of course take off at 4000 DA takes a while. I wound the clock going down the runway and comforted my crew member by assuring her the plane would actually fly eventually.

BUT ! ! --------------- We have had more than our share of the "near 100" days here around the lake. 15 miles east or west 105+ for 10 days running. We spent Fathers Day with the Horn's at Spicewood. Hot Hot Hot out there but George has a built in misting system on the back veranda and if one could position himself just right it was 20" cooler! We departed Monday and drove east towards Louisiana. Temps were near 110 a couple of times. When we approached Crockett TX a fairly large CU had developed and we drove into the rain shower. The amazing drop in temperature was so welcome. Near the middle of the thunderstorm it was 77" ! ! with some small hail mixed in the huge rain drops.
