Denver Centennial (KAPA) C-170 Touch/Go's

I flew up to Denver Centennial yesterday (Saturday Feb 27) and had lunch in the Denver Jet Center's "The Perfect Landing" Restaraunt, which overlooks the airport. (Great restaraunt!)

While I munched I had the pleasure of watching a pretty blue/white C-170 (A or B) doing touch and go's on 17R for almost an hour. Which one of you was it that made lunch so enjoyable? (I see we have SEVEN members in the Denver area!)

The seating is upstairs in this pic:

Mine's blue, white, and pretty, but it wasn't me. I was having lunch with the kids up in Greeley, but we could just as easily have had lunch with you at APA. Next time you're going to be here, let us know!

When Becky & I were leaving Centennial after our Thanksgiving visit with our daughter & family we noticed an all white or almost all white C-170 tied down on the line at TAC Air. Couldn't read the tail #. Don't know if it was a transit plane or if a local. Either way he/she were smarter than yours truly. It cost me $100 for one night in a hangar the night before we departed :(

That was N1811C owned by Maury & Ann Eastburn, members since 2002. The cool part is that guy that was in the left seat on Saturday made his first solo this morning in the same plane. That was Scott Fisher. Way to go Scott!

WELL WAY TO GO MAURY AND ANN. :!: I am glad there is another TD Pilot in the making and in your plane. I am guessing he is a pretty great candidate or y'all must be trusting souls.
