And no body on board had a pin knife.

MADDER'N HECK AT AN IGNORANT TSA IN AN UNNAMED AIRPORT DEPARTURE LOUNGE.
Bad enough to have to wait several minutes longer than all the rest of the passengers going through "SECURITY" because of the metal gearshift knob in my hip, then after putting all my wardrobe back together and proceeding to the gate area I was accosted by the "ROVING" tsa spook who saw a little 1 1/4" long multi-tool in our possession. This overzealous "enforcer" demanded we hand over the dangerous "contraband", "Oh yeah" the one with the with a 1 inch long by 1/4 inch wide "KNIFE BLADE"! I protested that we had already been through a very thorough inspection and the senior inspector did not deem it necessary to confiscate this little tiny key chain tool. The persistence of this ill natured, ignorant person was very irritating but the flight was loading so my time and options for complaint was limited. I wanted to get in her face and say "If I had the time I would insist you give me a receipt and get this documented to insure you aren't going to put this in your own pocket". I did say to her "I could do more damage with a credit card than the little tiny blade on this tool"! As stupid as all that was, here is the BIG joke. There was a guy getting on the plane with a 3 foot long skateboard strapped to his back pack! Used just right I could have killed all six passengers on that flight! That's right 7 passengers total and we were a danger to the flight operation with this little key chain multi tool!

The problem wasn't the multi-tool. The problem was that .....YOU... had a tool in your possession!

(You should have given it to someone who knows how to use it..... Deana!)
