Ron's gator

Post by Bruce Fenstermacher »

While in Lake Charles, LA for some simulator training a few weeks ago I had some down time. I decided I should see a real in the wild gator while I was there so I called Ron Massicot to see if he knew where any might be. So off Breaux Bridge I went to see Ron, Connie and a gator, not necessarily in that order. :)

After catching up and just before I had to leave to catch my plane home Ron and I and a slew of dogs jumped in his truck and off to the pond we went in search of a gator. We made one pass around the pond and saw all sorts of wild life in fact the place was being taken over by turtles but no gators. Then on the way back there it was. Ron says it's to small to be a male, I'll have to take his word for it. But one things for sure it must be a yank gator by the type of refreshment it drinks cause that ant no St Pauli Girl can she put out for recycling.
