eAPIS/Border crossing
Just another one of my stupid questions, the answer must be right in front of me yet I'm stumped, then again... To enter the US, aside from eAPIS, flight plans and TX code, I also need to contact (phone) the Customs guy at a designated port of entry to advise my actual arrival. Where do you find that number? I looked at the AFD, Navmonster, went to the CBP web site looking for Bellingham (KBLI).. zilch customs info. Are there also secret handshake instructions?

Not a stupid question at all! Whereas Canadian customs has just one toll-free number to call wherever you are, in the US each airport of entry has its own number, and some of them have a toll-free number. Here's a document that may help: http://www.cbp.gov/linkhandler/cgov/tra ... _guide.pdf. It gives the number at KBLI as (360) 734-5463.c170b53 wrote:Just another one of my stupid questions, the answer must be right in front of me yet I'm stumped, then again... Thanks john exactly what I was looking for plus it also has hours of operation. Learned the hard way last time I crossed back into Canada that customs is not 24/7. Lets hope the smugglers are patient and kind enough to make it sporting.
