I just had my first off runway landings at a get together at Wagon Wheel, Alaska. (about 70 miles from Nome) We had about 10 planes show up.
It was a great time.
Me and a buddy flew our Cessnas there the day before to scope it out and practice landing. He has a 140 cessna.
It was a great experience for me I really enjoyed it.
It was awesome to hang out with fellow pilots and talk about planes for a few hours!
I would have liked to camp overnight, but this thing called work interrupts my fun sometimes!
There is always next year!
