Re: Survival hand gun or rifle Question
This post is bizarre. It started out with firearms, morphed into ramp-checks, and now it's TSA. Where and which mesages should be separated? especially since many of them discuss more than one of the subjects? I think I'll just edit the topic.

Are you (or WHEN are you) going to split this airport security discussion from the firearms discussion? This wasn't really thread DRIFT, it actually fell off the cliff.![]()

To quote George:
"I use different FBO's at those airports and many of them have never seen me before...or they've forgotten me."
I do not believe that once anyone has meet George that they could subsequently forget him !!

At first I thought the same thing but then I remembered a thread last week where George and the guys were swapping pictures of their underwear

You are so correct W. J.,
Those underwear pictures of George were a real eye opener !
It was a revealing and scary side of George but we should have known something was happening to him. First the baggage door, then the twin landing lights, then the coming out of the closet. Next I wouldn’t be surprised to find a case of MMO or a 180 hp engine in his plane.
I suppose because he is such an excellent maintenance officer we have to overlook some of his idiosyncrasies.
